API Management

VettingGateway's API has been built to create a simple integration with your existing platforms, incorporating the background checks you need directly within your CRM or Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software.

  • This integration allows you to start your checks, view and manage your applicants’ data, and receive updates directly within your Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Our API endpoints have been created to ensure you can run your specific background check process within your chosen ATS or CRM platform, requiring only the applicant’s email address to trigger the start of the process.

Setting up API on your account

In order to access this function on VettingGateway you must first have either an Enterprise or Enterprise Hub license. From your 'Manage Subscription' page you will be able to switch on this feature:

Once this feature has been enabled, you can navigate to Admin > API Management where you can find your unique information and API Credentials. In this section you will be able to view the documentation page which will take your developers to the API Specification.

These credentials will be required when you are setting up the integration between VettingGateway and your other existing platforms.
