Heathrow Licence Users

Heathrow Airport and VettingGateway are working together to improve background screening processes for Airside ID applications within the airport. The goal is to simplify the process of applying for an airside pass, transforming what can often be a time consuming and complex task into a more automated and compliant experience.

For Organisations that have joined VettingGateway via the Heathrow collaboration, there will be a few differences between this licence type and regular commercial license types. These difference include:

  • Bundles will be restricted to Heathrow specific vetting bundles. Custom bundles will not be available.

  • The London Heathrow logo will appear at the top of your dashboard alongside your own logo. This logo will also appear on reference requests.

    • Please note: If you need to update your organisation name or logo, please speak to the Heathrow ID Centre for assistance.

  • When sending application data to AirportGateway you will see a dropdown for Heathrow Airport only. The application will be available under incomplete applications within AirportGateway.

  • You will be unable to create custom reference templates; compliant templates have been pre-uploaded for you to use. Go to Request a reference and the dropdown of templates will appear for you.

Heathrow Licence - Bundles

VettingGateway provides dedicated bundles for organisations conducting vetting in support of Heathrow Airport applications. These bundles are pre-configured to meet the requirements set by Heathrow Airport.

The checks included in each Heathrow bundle are fixed and individual checks cannot be added or removed from a bundle.
