Manage your Account¶
In order to use VettingGateway, you must first create an account. Your account is used to manage profiles for any checks you are undertaking with companies. You may find that you have applied to multiple companies which use VettingGateway to conduct their vetting checks, in this scenario you can manage all of your profiles using a single account. An account is linked to your email address, and secured using a strong password combined with multi-factor authentication.
Create an account¶
To create an account, all you need is an active email address. You'll provide us with your name, email address and a password. Once you have created your account you'll be sent an email to verify that your email address is correct and working. Once your account has been created, you're ready to activate any invites you've been sent.
To register, follow the steps below;
- Visit the register your account page.
- Fill out the required information.
- Click 'Create your account'.
- If you have access to multiple profiles or Organisations, you will then be presented the select account page.
Resetting your password¶
If you're having trouble accessing your account, you can request a password reset. This will send you through a process to verfiy that you are the correct user requesting the password change and allow you to update the password. You'll need to provide us with the email address you used to register, we will then email you with a code to verify the change request of your password. To request a password reset follow the steps bellow;
- Go to the VettingGateway sign in page.
- Click 'Forgotten Password?'.
- Enter the email address associated with the account you want to reset the password for, and click continue.
You will then be transfered to a password reset page. If the email address you entered matches an existing VettingGateway account, you will receive an email with a verification code.
- Enter the verification code and new password.
- Click 'Verify'.

If you have received an email to change your password, but did not request a password reset, please ignore the email.
